Come fall in love with our charming Storybook Stone Cottage. Crazy in love. Tucked beneath huge pines and built right on a mountain stream so close, you’ll swear it’s running through the living room. Just off the main deck, take the bridge over the stream to the hot tub and the “Bird House”, a tiny stone house with a second-story sleeping loft. (Guests old and young have been known to fight for the bed. Only drawback is that there isn’t a bathroom).
The main cottage is a perfect retreat for 2, but can easily accommodate 4. Two small bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a twin bed, on the main level with the small bathroom in between. The loft with a full bed has curtains that close off for more privacy. The kitchen is a gourmet cook’s delight with a Wolf range and a Sub Zero fridge. There is a small leaf table in the kitchen perfect for two and can be opened and pulled away from the wall to fit 4. Warm your toes on the radiant heated stone floors throughout, build a fire in the stone fireplace and soak in the stream-side hot tub. At the end of your day, sink into the comfy beds and luxurious linens that guests rave about. Enjoy sleeping on the soundtrack of the babbling mountain stream that you can hear from every part of the cottage.
